Springtime

Springtime has arrived in IL and I am finally able to break out all of Seven's cute cute clothes. Girls are so much more fun to dress then boys. Especially when it's a girl as cute as Seven.

Trying my hand at Photography

I have been trying my hand at photography with my new Canon Rebel XSI EOS 450D that my husband bought me. These were taken with a point and shoot lens that came with the camera, on a manual setting. For being such a crappy lens I can still get some pretty great shots. I am hoping to get 2 professional quality lenses and a external flash here really soon, so i can expand my capabilities and MAYBE even get someone to want to pay me to take their picture.

Cupcake

Can something perfect come in a neat little package? It sure can at Coldstone Creamery. These are their new "cupcakes" and boy o boy are they scrumdidlyumptious. They are for a limited time so they wont be around forever. Get your hands on them while you can. This is the "red velvet" cupcake. It's a chocolate shell with red velvet cake, cake batter ice cream and the frosting. Yummmmo

Amauti

Since my children were born, babywearing has been my passion. This past year I came across a carrier that I had never seen and just HAD to have. It was an Amautik. What an amazing piece of art work and functionality that this coat has. It's sublimely warm and totally gorgeous. It turns heads everywhere we go and is very comfortable. After having my Amauti this winter I dont know how I survived without it. It made taking the baby out in the snow and cold a pleasure. BA (before amauti) going out in the winter was a pain...I hated it and thought of every excuse in the book to NOT go outside. Now with our wonderful coat I am the first one out the door in the winter and the last one to come in. The price was steep but worth every penny that I paid for my beautiful Amautik.
